Narcisa de Jesus Avila de Calderon

Springfield- Narcisa J. Calderon, 63, passed away on April 7, 2021. Narcisa was born in Manta, Ecuador on October 25, 1957 to the late Andres and Anna (Bravo) Avila. Narcisa married her love, Victor M. Calderon in 1979 and together they raised three beautiful children. Narcisa loved her family, and she was the person who was always trying to get everybody together. She loved to cook, and her family will always remember her delicious Spanish dishes she created at home. She worked most recently as a Maintainer at UMass. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 41 years Victor M. Calderon of Springfield, her children Katty Calderon-Marks and her husband Carlos of Amherst, Raquel Calderon of Brooklyn NY, and Javier Calderon of Springfield, her six grandchildren Andrew, Carlos Jr., Jazmine, Josiah, Ariana and Gianni, her sisters Vincenta Avila, Mariana Quintero, Rosa Baldizon and Leonor Avila, her brother Ramon Avila, and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Services are entrusted to Forastiere Family Funeral & Cremation and will be held privately by the family.
