Michael J. Maslowski

Michael James Maslowski, 40, beloved son, brother and uncle, passed away at his home in Southwick, MA on Saturday, November 3, 2018. Mike was born on March 25, 1978 in Holyoke, MA. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Mike later went on to pursue his love of education at the University of Colorado, Boulder. From there, he went on to receive his Grand Diploma from Le Cordon Bleu in London. Finally, he did graduate work at the University of New Orleans. Mike enjoyed traveling, food, cooking and concerts with friends. He had a passion for music and the Patriots. His life revolved around his nephew and nieces; Mike loved spending time with them. Mike will be remembered for his big heart, smile, his sense of humor, his love of music, but mostly his tremendous love for his family. Mike was the most kind and caring person. He is survived by his parents James and Pamela Maslowski; his sister Kara and nephew, Jake and niece, Mia; and his sister Jill and niece, Lily. Calling hours for Michael will be Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 3-7pm at Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick. Burial will be private.
