Mary Rose DeNino, 71, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Western MA Hospital in Westfield after a long and brave battle with illness. Mary was born on August 19, 1947 in Springfield MA, living and starting her own family there before relocating to Agawam MA, where she resided until her recent illness. She was the daughter of WWII veteran John E. Hart and Dorothy M. (Payant) Hart. Mary was a graduate of Cathedral High School. Raised a Catholic, she was always sharing peace and love with others as well as being a firm believer in the power of forgiveness. Mary Rose was married to Roger S. DeNino Sr. of CT in 1967 and divorced in 1990. She worked for Associated Professional Billing for over 18 years as a data processor. Mary loved country crafts, holiday decorations, Cherished Teddys, Boyd’s Bears, flowers, and fine wine. She loved her family and friends more than anything else and proved this with her constant thoughtfulness and kindness. Mary is survived by her son, Roger S. DeNino Jr. and his wife Colleen DeNino of Westfield, and their two rescue dogs (Mary’s “Furry Grandbabies”) Taz and Oreo. She also leaves behind her other son, Scott M. DeNino of Westfield MA. Mary was a lifelong animal lover as her beloved cat Crystal can attest to. Mary will be missed by her longtime companion, and Crystal’s new owner, David Campurciani of Feeding Hills, whom she loved, and who supported her until the end.
