Martha L. Kolinchik

WESTFIELD – Martha L. (Johnson) Kolinchik 92, wife of the late William I. Kolinchik, died January 8, 2021 in Baystate Medical Center, Springfield.
Martha was born in Westfield, on October 17, 1928 a daughter of the late Elmer and Aurilla (Gates) Johnson. She was predeceased by one sister, Eunice Eckenrod. Martha grew up on her father’s farm, now known as Calabrese Farm, in Southwick. Martha is survived by her son and care giver, Glenn W. Kolinchik, two daughters, Crystal R. Brooks, Gail A. Schoonover; two brothers, Walter “Duke” Johnson and his wife Joan, William “Billy” Johnson; one sister, Mildred Slasinski; three grandchildren, Travis Brooks, Holly Schoonover, Jennifer Schoonover; 2 great grandchildren, Emma Sawyer, Luke Montanari; and extended family. Funeral services are private. A Spring burial will take place in New Cemetery, Southwick. www.forastiere.com
