Marcia Plumley

1942 – 2021

Southwick – Marcia (Randall) Plumley, 79, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

Marcia was born in Springfield, MA on June 12, 1942 to Charles and Vivian (Leslie) Randall. She resided in West Springfield for 52 years. She moved to Congamond Lakes in Southwick, MA on beautiful North Pond in 1994.

Marcia married her high school sweetheart Ken Plumley and they shared 56 wonderful years together.

She leaves her two children, Jennifer (Plumley) Moynihan and her husband Barry and David Plumley. Marcia also leaves her brother Robert Randall and wife Mary of Naples, FL and sister Janet (Randall) Drewnowski and husband John of West Springfield, MA.

Marcia was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend and grandmother. She has four grandchildren and one great grandchild. She has many nieces and nephews through our many states who she loved so much.

Marcia graduated from West Springfield and Bay Path College where she earned an Associates Degree as a Legal Secretary. She worked in Washington DC for the Navy Department, Bureau of Ships, a local Insurance Company and Law Firm.

Marcia and Ken bought West Springfield Hardware in 1975, using her skills managing the office until 1990. She has a second degree in Reiki. Marcia also worked at The Center for Children and Youth in Westfield until she retired in 2008. Marcia wrote and published a children’s book, “Tales of a Tom Cat”. She loved boating and was an avid reader. What Marcia cherished the most was her family and friends.

Everyone is invited to gather to celebrate Marcia’s life on Thursday October 21, 2021 from 4-7pm in Southwick Forastiere Funeral & Cremation, 624 College Hwy, Southwick MA.
