Lena Satopotie

Adelina “Lena” Satopotie, 95, passed peacefully at home on February 16, 2021. She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Francesca Satopotie of Springfield MA. She worked for many years before retiring from New England Telephone. She volunteered for many years at Mercy Hospital gift shop and was also very active as a Lady of the Mount Carmel Church Women’s Guild and the Golden Agers Club. Lena generously donated blood to the American Red Cross and was never one to forget a birthday or holiday with a card. She will be truly missed by her many beloved friends. The memorialization of Lena will start Tuesday February 23, 2021 from 8-9am in Forastiere Funeral Home, 45 Locust St., Springfield. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 123 William St., Springfield. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Springfield.
