Josephine Catherine Storozuk

SOUTHWICK – Josephine C. (Sup) Storozuk, 104, passed away on July 10, 2018. She was born in LaMacaza, Quebec, Canada to the late Dmytro and Teresa (Dzundza) Sup. She lived on the family farm in Canada where she met her husband Harry. In 1947, they moved to Southwick Massachusetts. Josephine worked and retired from Old Colony Envelope Company in Westfield, MA. Besides her parents, nine brothers and two sisters, she was predeceased by her husband Harry, son Walter, her daughter-in-law Paula Moquin and grandson 2-year old Gregory. To cherish her memory, Josephine leaves her sons Harry (Judith) of Westfield and William (Margo) of Southwick; daughter Mary Chenaille (Albert) of Ludlow; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. She also leaves many nieces and nephews in Canada. As a devoted member of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Hartford, CT, she enjoyed singing in the choir. She loved baking and feeding anyone who came through her door. She had a special passion for Korovai, which is a traditional Ukrainian wedding bread. We will also remember her for her hardworking and selfless nature. Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 10 AM – 12 Noon at Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick, MA with a service at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in New Cemetery in Southwick. Memorial contributions in Josephine’s name may be made to Alzheimer’s Association – MA/NH Chapter, 309 Waverly Oaks Road Waltham, MA 02452 or to a charity of one’s choice.
