Jonathan Jones

Hampden- Jon Jones, age 48, passed away suddenly on August 1, 2018. Born on July 29, 1970, he was the son of Janice Jones and the late Richard Jones of Hampden, MA. He will be missed by many including his brother Jeffrey Jones and his nieces and nephews-Taylor, Ashley, and Alex. Jon graduated from Minnechaug High School and attended Holyoke Community College. He worked as a cook in many area restaurants before moving to San Francisco, California in 2013. Jon had a gift for music and was an outstanding drummer. Jon loved music concerts, cooking, and playing music with local bands. Jon struggled from adolescence with mental illness and battled to forge a productive life.
