JoAnne L. Ferris

SOUTHWICK - JoAnne L. Ferris, 60, passed away on January 17, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Hartford, CT on April 17, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Irene (Thompson) Weigert. She was the former owner of Breakfast at Josie’s and most currently was the cafeteria manager for the Southwick-Tolland Regional School District. JoAnne was also a former President of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Southwick VFW Post 872. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Larry Weigert; her in-laws and her daughter-in-law Melissa Ferris. To cherish her memory, JoAnne leaves her loving husband Michael R. Ferris; daughters Brittny and Nicole Ferris; step-sons Jeremiah and Jesse Ferris; grandchildren Thomas, Logan, Malachi, Noah and Keegan; brothers Norman, John and David; sisters Noreen, Andrea and Karen as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 4-6:30 PM at Southwick Forastiere Funeral & Cremation, 624 College Highway, Southwick, MA with a service at 6:30 PM.
