Frances H. Bolanis

Springfield- Frances H. (Lecuyer) Bolanis, 80, passed away on August 4, 2018; surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife for 42 years to the late Anthony Bolanis who preceded her in 2014. Frances was born on September 8, 1937, in East Patterson, NJ, a daughter of the late Clarence J. Lecuyer and Dorothy Dixie (Wheeler) Lecuyer. She was predeceased by her four siblings. Frances is survived by a son Robert William Tongue Jr. (Elizabeth) of Springfield; two daugters, Helen Ellen Soucy (Michael) of Longmeadow, Margaret Lynn Santanello (Thomas) of Nassau, NY; 10 grandchildren, Sara Riggie (Joe), Sean Mangan (Brenna) , Robert Tongue III (Bonnie) , Brian Tongue (Meaghan) , Pamela Lagacy, Amy Lagacy, Amber Soucy, Thomas Santanello (Stacy) , Jamie Drake (Jon), Nicole Karski (Michael) , 11 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.  Funeral services will take place at 1:00PM on Friday (Aug. 10, 2018) in the Forastiere Smith Family Funeral Home, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow. A private burial will be held in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. The calling hours are from 4 to 7 on Thursday (August 9th, 2018) in the funeral home. The family is very grateful to the East Longmeadow Skilled Nursing Center and to Summit Elder Care and wishes to publicly thank them for their compassionate care.
