Eunice M. Spencer

Montgomery- Eunice M. (Hall) Spencer 102, beloved wife of  the late Gerald M. Spencer, Sr passed away on November 22, 2020 at St. Joseph Residence in Enfield, Connecticut.

Eunice was born in Montgomery, Massachusetts a daughter of the late William S. Hall and Grace (Sumner) Hall. She was a long time resident of Montgomery. She was a member of the “Sounds of Music Organ Club”, West Springfield.

Prior to her retirement, Eunice was employed by Digital, West Springfield, Steiger’s Department Store (as store manager) , and Gateway Regional School District, Huntington.

Besides her husband and parents, Eunice was predeceased by two sisters, Marguerite Stone and Dorothy Tinney; and her grandson, Dean Spencer.

Eunice is survived by a son, Gerald M. Spencer, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Montgomery; a daughter , Sandra Shelnut of Montgomery;  grandchildren, Jeffery Spencer, Mark Taylor, Michael Shelnut; great grandchildren, Kyle Spencer, Tara Spencer, Carson Spencer, Cassidy Spencer, Ashley Taylor, Corey Taylor; 4 great great grandchildren; one sister, June Rathay; grand daughter in law, Nancy Spencer (wife of the late Dean Spencer) along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members.

A public graveside service is being planned in the Spring.
