Eric Lee Kern

LONGMEADOW – Eric L. Kern, 54, passed away on February 19, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Holyoke, MA on April 5, 1965, he was the son of the late Howard and Geraldine (Hartung) Kern. Eric had previously worked as a machinist at American Saw and in his spare time, he enjoyed reading and being outdoors. To cherish his memory, he leaves his wife Elizabeth (Johnson) Kern of Longmeadow; his son Michael Kern of Longmeadow; his brother Bill Kern and his wife Deb of Hampden; his sister Christine Warnock and her husband Bruce of Easthampton; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Richard and Kathleen (Sheehan) Johnson of Longmeadow; his sister-in-law Eileen Reburn as well as his niece Lisa Reburn and nephew David Reburn. Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 9 – 10:30 AM at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow. A service will be held at 10:30 AM.
