Edmund Frazar

Edmund P Frazar, 99, of Duxbury and South Weymouth passed away on Monday January 11, 2021. Edmund attended Duxbury schools, graduating from Duxbury High School in 1939. He attended Bridgwater State College prior to enlisting in the Army Air corp to serve in WW2. Edmund was a radio technician serving in England, France and Belgium . After returning from Europe he completed his engineering degree at Northeastern University.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, of 68 years, Phyllis Peterson. Edmund worked as an engineer for the New England Telephone Co. ( Verizon ) During his working years he lived in South Weymouth. On retirement he returned to live in Duxbury, where he enjoyed golf and gardening.
Edmund was predeceased by his parents Walter and Minnie Frazar, and by his brother Irving in 1935. and his granddaughter Alyssa Frazar . Edmund leaves behind two sons, Robert of Russell, MA and Thomas of Underhill, VT. He also leaves three grandchildren, Christian Frazar, Tiffany Rudloe and Sarah Frazar as well as five great grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at a later date. . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer society.
