Doris J Denis

Southwick- Doris J. (Crevier) Denis died surrounded by family on July 11, 2019 at Baystate Noble. She was born in Chicopee on September 6, 1931 to the late Victor and Aldema (Brunelle) Crevier. After marrying the love of her life Joseph, they moved to Southwick in 1950. Doris was a devoted wife and mother, raising her six children and helping raise and mold the characters of her grandchildren. She was the anchor in her family, the baker of all things wonderful, and she will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her loving husband Joseph F. Denis. She leaves her children Joseph Denis and his wife Carol, Keith Denis and his wife Cheryl, Donna Calabrese and her husband Tom, Diane Denis-Gale and her husband Andrew, Chris Denis and Darla Denis; 8 grandchildren Jessi Cushenberry, Joseph Denis, Joseph Calabrese, Michael Calabrese, Danielle Calabrese-Brown and her husband Robert Brown, Dorrie Boyd and her husband Bob, Jeffrey Denis and Keith Denis; 5 great grandchildren Taylor and Will Cushenberry, Bennet Michael Brown, Denali Boyd and Aubrey Denis; her sister Dolores Breault and many nieces nephews and extended family and friends. Family and friends are invited to gather for calling hours Sunday July 14, 2019 from 2-4pm in the Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick, MA. A funeral service will be held Monday, July 15, 2019 at 8:45am in the funeral home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Our Lady of the Lake Church, 224 Sheep Pasture Road, Southwick, MA. Burial will follow in New Cemetery, Southwick. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Doris’s name may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
