David C. Chapman

GRANVILLE – David Coulter Chapman, 72, passed away on March 28, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Westfield, MA on December 16, 1947 to the late Harold E and Eleanor M. (Barr) Chapman, he was a graduate of Westfield High School. For over 30 years, David was employed at the Springfield Water and Sewer Commission (formerly Springfield Water) as a Water Treatment Operator. In his spare time, he loved spending time with his grandkids. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother John E. Chapman. To cherish his memory, David leaves his loving wife Claire C. (Forest) Chapman of Granville, his daughter Theresa Koloski and her husband Henry as well as his grandchildren Alan, Kyle and Eric Koloski. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Baystate VNA & Hospice for expediting his transfer home to be in the loving care of his family during his final moments.Funeral services will be private for the family and have been entrusted to Southwick Forastiere Funeral & Cremation.
