Concetta J. Colburn

Agawam - Concetta “Joyce” Colburn passed away on Dec. 4, 2019 while a resident of Heritage East in Agawam MA. She was born on September 26, 1926 in Enfield, CT to parents Thomas L. and Amelia V. (Gatto) Casiello. She graduated from Agawam High School and then worked as a secretary for the A&P in Springfield MA. Joyce was a volunteer driver for the American Red Cross for several years. In 1967, she married Robert Colburn who predeceased her in 2001. Joyce was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Agawam. She leaves two stepdaughters, Lynn Colburn and Carol Colburn. She also leaves three brothers and their families, George T. Casiello, of Agawam, Thomas H. Casiello of Pocasset MA and Gerald L. Casiello of Redding, CT.  Her funeral will be a private ceremony at Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home in Agawam. There will be no visiting hours. Burial will be at Agawam Cemetery on Main Street.
