Albert J. D'Angelantonio, Sr.

New Milford, Connecticut- Albert J. D’Angelantonio Sr 92, passed away on October 14, 2021 . Born in Springfield, he was the son of the late Carino and Giovannina (Baiocchi) D’Angelantonio . A lifelong resident of Springfield, Albert was employed by the U.S. Postal Service. He loved to play golf and took many golf trips with his sons. He enjoyed working in his yard, playing cards, and doing jigsaw puzzles and word searches in his golden years. He was pre deceased by his first wife Georgette, and his second wife Jeanette; and a son, Anthony D’Angelantonio. Albert is survived by his son Albert D’Angelantonio of New Milford, CT ; his daughter, Denise D’Angelantonio of Fair Oaks, CA; stepsons Mark Serrenho of Springfield (Darlene), and Joseph D’Angelantonio (Cathy) of Ludlow, (his grandchildren, Nicholas Dorval, Melissa Dorval, David Dorval , Amy D’Angelantonio (Glenn), Laura Rissolo (Jason) , Scott D’Angelantonio (Tara) , Dominic Serrenho, Alyssa Serrenho; his great grandchildren, Simone, Alexandra, Cameron, Wilder, Lia; and extended family members.

The funeral service will begin at 10:00AM on Tuesday (October 19, 2021) from the Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow. A funeral mass will take place at 11:00AM  on Tuesday (October 19,2021)in Holy Cross Church, 221 Plumtree Road, Springfield. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery , Springfield.
